Gavi (Gobbie) Cohn is one of the Managing Partners at Apex Reimbursement Specialists, where he focuses on helping dental practices maximize insurance revenue.
With over 25 years of experience in business development, Gavi has applied the strategic foundation of his University of Maryland MBA across both for-profit and non-profit sectors. Prior to co-founding Apex, he built his expertise in sales, marketing, and operations within the insurance industry, including managing his own independent agency.
At Apex, Gavi leverages this background to lead marketing strategy, client growth, and operational execution. He plays a key role in strengthening the negotiating power of Team Apex, consistently helping clients achieve 7–10% average increases in insurance reimbursements, while overseeing initiatives such as UCR fee analysis, credentialing, and coding reviews that have uncovered millions in additional production for dental practices nationwide.
